Dive Medicals

You may be required to complete a dive medical for your work, study or personal recreation activities, here at JCU Health we have qualified staff who are able to perform both Recreational and Occupational dive medicals. 

All dive All Dive Medicals involve a questionnaire, assessment, visual acuity, colour-blindness, hearing, lung function tests, and a consultation with a Scuba Diving Doctor.

Occupational dive medicals are required yearly if scuba diving is an ongoing requirement of the study or work that you do.

We can do recreational and occupational dive medicals.

• Recreational Scuba Dive Medicals are completed in accordance with (Australian Standards) AS4005.1
• Occupational Scuba Dive Medicals are completed in accordance with (Australian Standards) AS2299:2015
