What is a Dietitian and what do we do?
Dietitians are the experts in the use of food and nutrition to promote health and manage chronic disease.
They lead the way in providing individualised evidenced based practice, nutrition education and interventions to help nourish the body in both healthy individuals and those with medical conditions.
Services Provided
Our focus is providing nutrition based therapy services based on following current recommended evidence and guidelines. Together our dietitians provide comprehensive care for clients across the lifespan and hope to make Townsville a healthier, happier place, providing personalised nutrition advice on conditions including:

Referrals
Adults may self-refer or refer children by calling the reception or via email on contact details above. For medical practitioners, specialists, psychologists and allied health wanting to refer (with consent of the referee), referral letters can be faxed to (07) 4779 2739 or emailed to [email protected].
Appointment Length
The average time for your consultation will be approximately 60 minutes.

EPC plans via Medicare and bulk billing available on request and at discretion of clinician as well as private health HICAPS on the spot claiming available.
